Email and email confirmation is now required for editing. I think there are some spam plug-ins, will investigate.

I hope that this page and this wiki does not turn into a list of external links.

I have the same hope but it needs to reach 'critical mass' on content before it becomes a real source and getting contributions is difficult.

Don't know about you two but I cannot be super serious about contributing until (a) people can tell who runs the site, and whether they are in it for the long haul; and (b) until it is secured against spam (any idiot can join now with no ID or authentication). --Chklnk (talk) 23:13, 23 May 2021 (UTC)

Chklnk, good questions. A. Rob Farrow (me) started this site. I also started RobotCobatEvents.com and currently manage sparc.tools and SPARC's BotRank. I only have so much bandwidth and created the wiki hoping to get some community engagement. The site will stick around. B. I've purposefully kept access open and so far there hasn't been any spam. As soon as it becomes an issue I'll start restricting things.

I hope to meet you someday, and thank you for your service to the community. --Chklnk (talk) 03:51, 25 May 2021 (UTC)

Garbage incoming. If you allow me page deletion rights I will be glad to be the second shift sentinel while you get security set up. Wouldn't be my first wiki janitorial job. If it's like previous encounters, you'll see one or two new accounts daily, each one posting one junk article. --Chklnk (talk) 00:42, 29 May 2021 (UTC)
