Death By Monkeys

Team Death By Monkeys started building combat robots for Battlebots in Season 3 with their Lightweight 60lb robot Death By Monkeys
The team also competed at Battlebots with their Heavyweight Silverback and at Robotica with Killa Gorilla.

There is a Fandom Page for Death by Monkeys that goes into the history of the bots at BattleBots.

Death by Monkeys was a four wheel drive robot with 'lifter spikes' that competed in three seasons of BattleBots. The robot was fast for its time, with its speed topping out at 20 MPH with very quick acceleration. The robot used 4 Ryobi Hammerdrill motors for its drive system. A later version attempted to use gearboxes from Astroflight but they proved to be too fragile for robot combat.

In this vintage YouTube video Death by Monkeys eeks out a win vs. Sublime.
