Death by Monkeys was a four wheel drive robot with 'lifter spikes' that competed in three seasons of BattleBots. The robot was fast for its time, with its speed topping out at 20 MPH with very quick acceleration. The robot used 4 18v Ryobi Hammerdrill motors driven at 24v for its drive system. A later version attempted to use gearboxes from Astroflight but they proved to be too fragile for robot combat.
